I was commissioned by this Dubai-based heavy metal band Voice of the Soul to redesign their old logo. After about a month of back-and-forth the client and I finally figured out what direction best suited them and we came out with this.

The band wanted a more contemporary look. The eventually decided it wasn’t what they wanted after all and opted to return to a more traditional serif (pointy) font typically used in the heavy metal genre.
