I run a fortnightly drawing club at a local pub here in Perth. The goal was to get artists (both amateurs and serious sketchers) out of their bedrooms so they could get to know each other and form a little bit more of a community. We honestly don’t need a logo or anything, but I wanted one, so why not? A little bit of self-indulgent design never hurt anyone.

I was commissioned by this Dubai-based heavy metal band Voice of the Soul to redesign their old logo. After about a month of back-and-forth the client and I finally figured out what direction best suited them and we came out with this.

Live digital painting done while in Cairo, Egypt in January 2013. I was at a house party visiting a friend and I had all my art gear out demo-ing some digital art techniques. The people there wanted me to hook up my laptop to the TV and do a live digital painting from scratch, so over the course of the evening I was working on this piece while one of my musician buddies Gaser from The Meteors Project live composed/produced beats in the background for me to work to.
