A psychedelic portrait of my friend Clare. It began by drawing a pencil sketch of Clare, and then absent-mindedly drawing other objects around in a stream-of-consciousness kind of flow. Not thinking too hard about anything or assigning any specific meanings, just hey I feel like drawing a baboon over here, put it in! When I had finished sketching, I rearranged bits and pieces of the sketch til I liked then composition, then did a digital paint-over.
