I was asked to create a pen and ink illustration of a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. Luxottica was hosting an event showcasing the new ranges of products from brands like Ray Ban, Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana, and others. The clientele were all people within the eyewear industry. At the Ray Ban area there was a live musician, Bulgari had two snake handlers, and I was at the D&B area doing a live illustration. I was asked to recreate an image of D&B sunglasses but in my own line art style.
I was supplied with a photo of the sunglasses the client liked, given some line art examples that they liked, and asked to just do something cool.
