Originally a poster for The Southwicks back in 2012, in 2016 I polished it up and turned it into a personal painting. It started with the client sending me a drawing of an octopus wearing a native American head dress and asked me to take it from there. The concept we developed was what if we had a happy octopus out at sea capturing seagulls and eating them, then making a head dress as a trophy?
